Central Screw Products

Arnot B. Heller II

Having started working at his father’s short run and prototype facility as a young boy on Saturdays, Mr. Heller continues to be our largest source of manufacturing knowledge. As the third generation of machinists in the Heller family, and a graduate of the University of Michigan Engineering school, Mr. Heller is an incredible problem solver. His ability to spot problems before they occur and process jobs for quality finished product is unmatched. Because he is a gifted teacher, all who have worked for him have benefited from his expertise. Deemed the best machinist they have ever met by many, Mr. Heller has some cowboy mentality in him, which allows Central Screw Products to grow as a company, to meet the needs of its customers, and provide necessary tools for the industry. He spends most of his time working with customers on problem jobs, and has been the face of Central Screw Products throughout the world the past 30 years. In his few moments of free time he enjoys spending them in Northern Michigan with his wife and family.

Arnot B. Heller III

Arnot B. Heller III started working at Central Screw Products in December of 1999, after graduating from the University of Michigan the previous spring. During the 7 months between graduation and Central Screw Products he worked at a small fastener sales house and became acquainted with the industry from the fastener side. A self proclaimed "idea guy", Arnot led the charge for globalization as his Dad kept things humming in Detroit. Five years into his tenure he is leading the International Department and constantly working on Central Screw Products marketing and services offering. Well versed in processing and manufacturing from years of Saturdays with Dad in the shop, he brings a technical knowledge, automation experience, and over four years of direct international contact. He enjoys outdoor activities including sailing and kiteboarding whenever he and his wife can sneak away.

Matthew D. Heller

The latest edition to the Central Screw Products team, Matt returned to Central Screw Products after tenure with Air Products and Chemicals as a Process Engineer. His job at Air Products immediately followed his graduation from the University of Michigan Engineering School in the spring of 2001. An avid traveler, Matt spent much of his college time and his professional time abroad. He has spent time in Germany working, and time throughout Europe, Asia, and Australia traveling. He has joined Central Screw Products to help grow the Global Products and Services and add a dynamic energy and worldly presence to the organization. He is well trained in manufacturing as well, learning many of the same shop skills as his older brother. He and his wife enjoy spending as much time as possible traveling and being on the water.
