Initial Setup: CSP is continually looking for ways to automate repetitive, high volume tasks so as to be able to increase overall volume and keep costs down. One of these tasks is installing seals into each end of a bushing. This task is being performed by a manual laborer, however, CSP is diligently working to fully automate this task (as shown in the video). CSP is in the developmental stages of this project, but currently, while operating at 50% speed, the seal installer can install seals into two bushings per minute.
