The Challenge: CSP received an inquiry from a bracket stamping company. Current production of the stamping was being conducted in the Northern US. The company maintained two locations, one near the production site and the second over 2000 miles away! Product was being shipped by truck, equating to a tremendous logistics cost related to the remote factory location.

The Solution: CSP developed a lean manufacturing stamping capability and service that solved the logistical and cost challenge for the customer. We engineered the part in China for the both locations. No tooling cost was charged and the part was direct shipped from China to both locations. . In process gages were installed in China to ensure compliance as well as 100% inspection for functionality per the customer’s request.
