Why does Detroit Gun Works manufacture premium weapon components?

Because this is what we do. We shape metal. We shape it into tools. Tools that allow us to do our jobs.

When the now dubbed “great recession” hit, our machines became idle. But there was no one their handing us a bailout. This is Detroit, you pick yourself up when you fall down.

So we rallied. We retrained our people, and re-tooled our equipment. And we started to produce gun components. Why, because strategically it’s a good idea.

Our business is all about strategy, and where things are made. It is important that guns are made in the USA, and where better to make them than Detroit.

But no one is going to do that for us, so we have set out to do it ourselves.

Why? Because it's what we do. What do you do?
